Apparently my biggest money sink is the Artist Alley. I spent so much money on beautiful prints, good lord.
But! It does make me consider setting up a table for a future con. Not next year's, but maybe Otakon '13. I know some of the hottest sellers were the pins, hahah. I saw tons and tons of pokemon pins, but always of about the same pokemon. No slakoths, no brelooms, etc etc. If I do pins I'm going to do a lot of the less loved pokemon. Who wouldn't want a cute dunsparce pin???
But this also means I need to make some more artwork that will sell. Which means I need to stop settling for half-finished doodles, whoops. I need to start a portfolio... HMM
So much to do to get this to work.
I'm even considering drawing a doujinshi or two (likely loveless or okami doujinshi) since I recently read something about the Japanese going "lol america where's your doujin". I'll only be able to sell 10 prints per 'jin, I think, so I'll probably set up a way for people to find the copy online and order it that way. Possibly. We'll see.
Also apparently Andrew Hussie (creator of Homestuck) went to the con, cosplaying himself.
You magnificent bastard I read your comic!! 8)
